Just a short drive from Battle Creek is a quaint town called Marshall, Michigan. This town feels like it's right out of a Hallmark movie with a sweet street filled with locally owned shops. We recommend checking out Louie's bakery. While the decor inside doesn't look like it's been updated since they opened in the 50s, their pies sell out every day. Schuler's is a unique restaurant with great food. The main street is filled with fun antique shopping.
Inspiring the 1960s song, "I've got a gal in Kalamazoo." This town is only a 30 minute drive from Battle Creek and the downtown was the first outdoor mall in the US, and is still filled with cute shops today. Bell's Brewery is founded here and has a restaurant with great outdoor garden seating with frequent live music on the weekends. HopCat is another local bar favorite. Top restaurants include Brick and Brine, Principal and Rustica.
