We're getting married!

Their story began on a night when both Chelsea and Jordan had decided to give up on love. Chelsea was out with her friend Surya at a bar in Walker's Point, Milwaukee, having reluctantly agreed to go because their mutual friend, Victor, would be there. She wasn’t expecting much—just some cheap pregame shots before going out to "paint the town red." Chelsea had already given up on finding love in America & was committed to moving to Israel to "make Aliyah" & marry a nice Jewish boy. Despite suffering from terrible allergies the night before, Jordan also decided to go out that evening. When Victor walked in with Jordan, & their eyes met across the room, something clicked. Yes, it was as corny as a Lifetime Hallmark film. They both realized they were Virgos & did a little spirit finger gesture. From that moment on, Jordan wouldn’t let Chelsea dance or flirt with anyone else. He spent hours staring into her eyes & even gently held on to her waist most of the night at the bar—very presumptuous and bold, but it worked! Later, they all ended up sitting in front of the Water Tower on Lake Drive, talking & laughing for hours. Victor, being the connector & hype man that he is, told Jordan that Chelsea & Surya were two of the coolest, smartest women in Milwaukee. Before leaving her car, Jordan lovingly rubbed Chelsea’s shoulder & told her he hoped to see her again. That night, he texted her, saying he had to take her to dinner. Chelsea told him that if he wanted to see her, he would have to come over that night, as she would be traveling to Miami for work soon. He immediately drove over, & Chelsea couldn’t help but notice how practical his Toyota SUV was with Kendrick Lamar playing in the background. They spent hours more talking in front of Atwater Beach, shared their first kiss, & Jordan confessed his love for Chelsea. Jordan asked to see Chelsea again the very next day. Surya jokingly said to Chelsea, "Look at you, getting ready for your first-last date!" Jordan then took Chelsea on an impromptu date to sneak Speed Queen BBQ into the North Shore movie theater to see Black Panther II: Wakanda Forever, but the restaurant was closed, so they settled for Culver’s instead. A couple days later, Jordan met up with Chelsea during her work trip to Miami and continued to woo her on their daily beach walks, joking that he was on his "farewell tour," saying goodbye to all his other "baddies." A month later, they traveled to Hawai'i, where Chelsea picked out her engagement ring, & Jordan made sure it was custom-designed with their shared birthstone—a sapphire. About six months later, after an unforgettable two-week road trip starting at Chelsea’s sister & brother-in-law’s (Sydney & Andrew) house in Nevada, through the Redwood Forest, & ending in Canada, they stopped at "The Crazy Norwegian's Fish & Chips" in Oregon. After lunch, Jordan got down on one knee & proposed on Battle Rock in Port Orford, overlooking the stunning sand dunes—despite them having fought the day before over directions & him accidentally dropping the ring box in the car! The next day, they received an accepted offer on their historic home on Milwaukee's Upper East Side, just a few blocks from where they first spent hours talking in the car, with the help of their dear friend Melanie. And the rest, as they say, is history! Funny enough, they had no clue that the bar where they met was a gay bar (Jordan was curious why so many men were staring at his gorgeous self), & just days before, Chelsea had also suffered a terrible allergy attack. The timing for these two nerds to meet could not have been more perfect. As the old adage goes, “Man plans… God laughs.” And yes, sometimes, when you focus on bettering yourself & letting go of the search for love, you’ll walk into a small local bar in a humble Midwest town, lock eyes with someone, & marry that person.
