Since we both love food so much, it is only fitting that our first date involved Fuego (the best taco place in College Station). John had just pulled up to the Texas A&M institute building with his sister Marcela with food from Fuego in his hand. Chelsea was walking towards her car, saw the food and said "Where was my invite for Fuego?" jokingly. Then John said "I'll make it up to you next week." The rest is history!
John treated Chelsea to an amazing day in Galveston since she loves the beach. Later, he drove them to her favorite restaurant, Carrabba's. Little did she know that while they were out and about, both of their families were setting up the spot where John would propose to Chelsea. On their way back to Chelsea's house, John unexpectedly pulled over by a golf course and walked his soon-to-be fiancé down the sidewalk to a bridge. There, on the bridge, with the sunset in the background and candles lighting the pathway, there stood a sign saying "Will you marry me?" John got down on one knee and proposed to Chelsea. She said "Yes!" Immediately after, both of their families came out from hiding and were able to celebrate the happy day together.
