We're getting married!

It all started on a Sunday afternoon at church. JJ was singing, and I remember being instantly curious about him—something about that moment caught my attention and stayed with me. A little while later, our friend Elline introduced us after our last class period. I still remember nervously telling him his hands were sweaty—who knew that little comment would be the beginning of our love story? From Then to Now During our first year of getting to know each other, JJ asked if he could court me. I was nervous and unsure, so I told him, “If you wait a year, we’ll see.” And he did. Who could say no to someone with that kind of patience and heart?
