Please see the travel section for details on the two room blocks we have available. We will provide a shuttle to the Hilton Garden Inn at the end of the after party. If individuals would like different accomodations, there are many options available in Lenox, Pittsfield, and Great Barrington that are within 30 minutes of the Red Lion.
The Inn has its own parking lot in the back, off Elm St, and there is also street parking in downtown Stockbridge.
Our reception will include appetizers, dinner, drinks, dessert, and hanging out! We’ll do beer, wine, and a specialty cocktail for open bar. If anyone wants specific cocktails or something not offered at the reception, there is the tavern on the first floor which offers a full bar and guests are able to utilize this option.
It’s really important to us that we get married in a space close to our hearts. We’ll be doing our ceremony in the backyard of Chelsea’s mom’s home prior to the reception. This is our way to get married in nature and honor her Dad by having our ceremony in the place he loved so much. As much as we’d like to, it’s not possible to include all our guests at our ceremony due to the location so we will only be having immediate family present. We are so excited to come celebrate with everyone afterwards!
Our reception ends around 9/9:30pm. Everyone is welcome to leave at that point if they’d like! For those who want to stay celebrating, we will host an after party at the Firehouse on the Inns property. The party will start around 9:30pm, or about a half hour after the reception ends. This will give everyone time to freshen up and relax after the reception. There’s plenty of lounge spots at the Inn and two bars to get drinks at. There is also space to change at the Firehouse so if anyone wants to bring a change of clothes for after the reception they are more than welcome to! We’ll be providing snacks, beer, and wine. Depending on how late we celebrate, supplies might get limited so please feel free to bring extra drinks if you’d like. A cooler would be recommended as there is limited fridge space at the Firehouse.
Our venue is small and intimate so we can only have a certain number of guests. Unfortunately, there were many people we wanted to invite but were unable to because we are already at max capacity. If for any reason you need an accomodation for your child or an extra guest please reach out asap.
This will be cocktail/casual. We really don’t care what anyone wears as long as you’re comfortable! In fact, we’d rather everyone stick to their own unique style and not some stuffy wedding formal wear.
