Jamie and Chelsea first met in highschool where they were placed on the same ultimate frisbee team for gym class. Although some might find gym class to be romantic, this pair were far too committed to the win to be distracted with love. Years went by, and the two were in pursuit of their careers. Chelsea graduated from Penn State and moved to San Francisco to begin her dietetic intership. Jamie moved to Brooklyn to pursue music. The pair shared only a few facebook comments here and there, but enough to keep a connection, even if it was just a small one. “My last bass player met his wife on my last tour, so you better watch out”, Lissie said, hiring Jamie as her touring bass player in 2016. Rolling his eyes, he did have one location circled on his tour schedule, San Francisco. “Well, I’m never going to look any cooler”, he thought as he worked up the courage to invite Chelsea to the show. He didn’t look cool, but as it turns out, that never mattered. From that day in San Francisco, the two started to grow their life together. July 3rd, 2020 Jamie, with the help of their beloved cat Roma, asked Chelsea to be his wife in their Brooklyn apartment. Join the couple April 8, 2022 as they exchange vows and begin their forever.
