We are getting married mostly outdoors at a Quaker retreat center. Please dress your feet appropriately (no heels), black tie definitely NOT required. We encourage colorful and fun dress. Bring layers! Leggings encouraged! Sweaters and slacks OK! We want you to feel good while looking good.
We will be serving a cheese spread during the cocktail hour, and a BBQ for dinner. Dinner will be served around 5:30 PM, so no worries about being starved all evening. There will be lots of wine and beer, as well as nonalcoholic beverage choices. We ask that guests do not BYO hard liquor- we want to encourage fun without over indulging. Schedule: Ceremony: 3pm Cocktail Hour: 3:30-4:30 Dinner and Dancing (there will be a band!): 4:30-8:30 We are asking that all immediate family arrive at 1pm for photos. We will be doing all formal photos BEFORE the ceremony so that we don't miss out on any of the fun! The inside of the Big House (where the bridal party is staying) has a lovely, colonial living room which is nice and cozy for relaxing between photos and the ceremony.
9:00 am - 11:30 am
Woolman Hill asks that we do a full pack out and decently thorough cleanup of the wedding, and have even supplied us with a clean up checklist and sign up chart (they are pros)! Join us for casual serve yourself brunch, mimosas, and bloodys! We will assign small tasks to folks who are definitely attending (easy stuff like stripping linens and putting them in a pile, washing dishes, etc.)- there will be way fewer tasks than people, so we will reserve the cleanup for the young folks. NO OBLIGATION!!! Our families will be there, but we just wanted to open it up for folks to stop by for a snack and a goodbye on their way out of town. We have to be fully packed out and gone by NOON on Sunday.
