If you're looking for a place to grab a bite to eat while checking out Old Wethersfield, The Charles would be a great choice. This place was voted the best new restaurant in Connecticut for a reason!
Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art
The Wadsworth Antheneum is absolutely beautiful and has an amazing collection including classic pieces from Salvador Dali, Monet, Goya and Georgia O’Keeffe, not to mention modern art, sculpture and an impressive collection of antique Colt Firearms. Admission is completely free, but remember to book ahead!

Milkcraft
Delicious ice cream! We stopped at MilkCraft on our first date, and it has held a special place in my heart ever since! Elias loves the PB&J. If you're not a monster and this sounds gross to you, Chelsea recommends you try the Vietnamese Coffee flavor!
Heublein Tower
A cute little hike, with an observatory on top! One of our favorites for when we need a quick dose of nature.
Book Barn Downtown
A series of barns and shops in several locations throughout Niantic, housing all manner of used books. It is a bit of a drive, but if you decide you'd rather look at books than come to our wedding, this is the place to go!
