"Your path to wellness begins at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara. Here, locally inspired and luxury spa rituals pay tribute to the scenic California landscape in ways both enticing and effective. Indulge in a Signature Experience like The Hollywood Facial or Bacara Signature Massage to explore the possibilities of renewal. Or branch out with the Citrus Avocado Body Scrub which exfoliates and revitalizes the skin with Himalayan salts, organic avocado oil and uplifting citrus essential oils. Other services include massages, skincare and hair and nail services. Set within the resort’s 78 acres, the spa encompasses 42,000 square feet and features a full selection of amenities, including a swimming pool, redwood sauna and eucalyptus steam room. Fireside lounges and a rooftop terrace offer additional spaces to relax, restore and enjoy the spa resort’s legendary Santa Barbara views."
The resort’s four Har-Tru clay composition courts host adult and junior clinics, matches and private and semi-private lessons. Tennis Racquets are available to rent. Guests can purchase tennis balls once they arrive to the courts. Guests can also bring their own tennis balls.
Set on 78 acres, the resort offers two-miles of natural beach, three zero-edged heated saline pools with private cabana rentals and watersports including surfing, kayaking and paddle boarding.
Bacara is the first hotel in Santa Barbara to officially offer guests 18 and older complimentary use of their fleet of pedal-assist bikes by BCycle. The bicycles have the ability to transport travelers up to 30 miles on a single charge at a maximum speed of 17 mph. If guests decide to go beyond the maximum range, the bike can simply be pedaled back to the resort just as one would a traditional, single-speed manual bike.
Take advantage of Central California’s year-round temperate climate and discover the beauty of Santa Barbara on a leisurely bike ride along the beach or through historic downtown. Adventure seekers can enjoy mountain biking atop the Santa Barbara Bluffs, catching waves on a surfboard, and exploring the Gaviota Coast by kayak or paddle board.
