We met at Warren Mott High School. We had mutual friends but we were in two different places in our lives. Later after graduating, we reconnected over Facebook. He reached out through the DM and we chatted for a while before going on our first date, August 24th, 2014. We planned to go to the movies but I was indecisive and we ended up at Buffalo Wild Wings-Downtown lol. This would later become one of family favorites years down the line. That very day, DaQuan expressed to me that he wanted a family and wanted me to be his wife. I was flattered, but didn’t know how serious he was. During and after dinner we talked for hours and everything seemed so natural. Shortly, afterwards we became boyfriend and girlfriend and 6 years later we are still very best friends! On October 6th, 2018, In a very intimate setting of our home, DaQuan got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and I said YES! Our love is unordinary, resilient, and lead by God. We can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together!
