FAQs

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at McMenamins Edgefield in the Administrator’s House Yard

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

The celebration will start at 5:00. We kindly ask guests to arrive between 4:40-5:00. If you are staying as a guest at Edgefield, check-in time is 3:00 PM.

Question

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

We ask that all RSVPs be submitted no later than September 4th. PS. If you don’t RSVP by September 4th, please bring a chair and a sandwich.

Question

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

There sure will! However the venue changed all of their event menus at the end of June. Our previously planned menu is no longer available. Hope you like surprises and that you weren’t too attached to what you chose 🤣

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please email us at popekeyswedding@gmail.com to let us know. We want you to be safe and comfortable! Our selected menu does have gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If it is noted on your invitation, you may bring a plus one. Due to the small venue, seating is limited.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We are having an adult ceremony and reception. All guests will be 18 years or older. Thank you for understanding

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

You can wear anything you want! Though, if possible, we do request dark colors; black, navy, emerald, wine, etc. Just remember that it will be October in Oregon, so you'll want to stay warm enough and comfortable.

Question

Can we use our phones/cameras?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We've hired an amazing photographer to take photos. We want to see your faces, not your phones. Plus, all professional photos will be made available to family and friends after they are processed by our photographer!

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

There will definitely be an amusing interpretation of it!
