We were at Weidmann's for a surprise engagement. I just knew he was there with somebody else. He reached for a hug, and I walked smooth past him! I went to go sit at the other end of the table, where Kermit was (inside joke). Kermit had everyone feeling uncomfortable. 😑 The couple that just got engaged were talking about names for their future kids, and everyone on my end was like "spell it with a C!" It happened to spark a conversation between us! I asked him what was his name and he was like "CJ"! Me: I NEED YOUR GOVERNMENT NAME, SIR! Him: Clinton So, we get to talking and everyone wanted to go to Buffalo Wild Wings! Him: Where you going after this? (Y'all know he was already feeling the kid 😉) Me: I'm gonna go with everyone else! Him: (already staring like he's in love 😍) OK, I'll see you there! So, Cj, his friend (we gonna let him remain nameless 😂), and I were the first ones there. We go to the bar and hang. He pulls my chair out for me and then for himself (his friend was drunk and sat down), so he goes to the other side of me and sit! We in deep conversation for about 15 minutes and everyone else arrives! We go sit with them, but are still in our convo! This man told me he was a teacher and I just knew he was lying 🤥. He has tattoos and totally not like your average teacher. We go into depth about his career, and you can see how passionate he was! At this point we forgot anyone was around us (I was falling at this point)! That was until, his drunk friend spilt water all over the table 🙃! He paid for me at both places, y'all! Now, he gets up to go clean himself off and everyone else is headed that way. He didn't get his card back🤦🏽‍♀️, so I sign for it (since, I knew his government)! He comes out the bathroom panicking, not because of his card but because he didn't see me (thought he miss the opportunity)! We all go outside! Keep in mind it's almost 1 a.m.! He opens my door, and y'all know he didn't want me to leave! He asked for my number, so he can make sure I made it home safe (smooth with it)! We noticed everyone staring at us, whispering, and smiling. That just made us talk even longer! Before we knew it, it was 4 a.m. Needless to say, he was calling me as I was walking in the house! I just knew I found my husband!

I almost missed the out because my phone had messed up, and I got a new one. People were calling me, but I had no numbers saved and I don't answer unknown numbers. So, finally one of my best friends decided to text me, and ask was I going to one of our class mates dinner. Still not knowing who it was I said "yea." He was going to ride with me and I still didn't know until he called and said he was on the way. We get to Weidmann's and ordered something to drink, while we waited for everyone else. People start arriving and finally Chelsea walked in. She speaks and hugs everybody in my area, and I go to say hey and got curved. She went and sat by some more people and Kermit the frog at the other end of the table. We all get to talking at the table talking about names and we got each other names. Chelsea would not accept my name was CJ! I had to give my original name, smh. Everybody was trying to decide where to go next because it was early. While everybody was trying to decide, I started a conversation with Chelsea to see where she was going, so I could go too. Buffalo Wild Wings was the place everybody decided on. We get there and my best friend is a little intoxicated. When we get in there, he went straight to sleep. I pulled the chair for her and me to sit down, but he took my seat. I had to go to the other side of her. We started talking and kept talking even after everyone else arrived. Then my bestfriend knocked over a glass of water, and it got on me. I went to clean up. Came back and the table was empty. I thought I missed my chance. Then, Chelsea came walking up with my card. I knew I had a chance. So, I walk Chelsea to her car. When we get there, I asked for her number. We kept talking for hours. After that day we talked everyday. Here we are getting married!
