What is a Cocktail Style Reception?

Answer

This is an alternative to the traditional seated affair. It's a mix of heavy passed hors d’oevures and food stations. Guests mix and mingle while eating and are encouraged to walk around and chat. There will be open seating available, but not assigned seats for each guest. Ceremony Details

Answer

The ceremony will be outside at the entrance of Latrobe Park. The bridal party will be entering from the main staircase off of Fort Avenue and the ceremony will take place at the bottom of the stairs. It will be a quick ceremony, so there will not be any seating in the park. There will only be two benches reserved for immediate family. Most of the standing will be on the grass, so please take that into consideration with attire. Please try to be situated in the park between 4:45pm-4:55pm, as the ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm.

Is there convenient parking?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot owned by UnderArmour that is available to use. It is located at 1080 Hull St. Baltimore, MD 21230, only three blocks from the reception! We will have 2 Charm Cars driving guests from the hotel to the ceremony. They will be looping around to the parking lot in between drop offs to provide transportation from the parking lot as well.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

The hotel is located 1/2 mile away from the ceremony. We will have 2 Charm Cars driving guests to the ceremony starting at 4pm. They will also be available at the end of the night between 9:30pm-11pm to drive guests back to the hotel if you are skipping the after party.

What if it rains?

Answer

Let's pray for no rain! But it's always best to be prepared! If it's a light rain shower, we'll proceed as planned with the ceremony in the park. Bring an umbrella! If the rain is too much, we will hold the ceremony at the Marine Corps League "Firehouse Hall" located at 1426 E. Fort Ave (one block away from the park). The doors to the hall will be open at 4:30pm. If you're unsure where to go, please call or text the Maid of Honor, Christina Anuszewski, 410-596-4712 or Sidney Minor 443-844-0225

What's the dress code?

Answer

We are having a cocktail style wedding, so cocktail attire, please! But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids - we really do. But only the children in our wedding party will be in attendance. We want our wedding to be your night off! If you need help booking a local babysitter, please let us know.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
