Sunday Morning Brunch: The resort will be offering a buffet brunch for guests who'd like to join. Please note: brunch is not hosted, so be sure to bring your appetite and your wallet!
You cannot bring your own beverages or alcohol to the ceremony, reception, or after party — Texas law, y’all. That said... you're welcome to bring your own beverages to enjoy in your cabin (or a friend’s!). So maybe keep those shooters out of your boots... unless you’re incredibly sneaky.... As for food, that also needs to stay in your cabin - unless you go for a picnic at the lake :)
YES! The venue onsite lodging does accept dogs! Please be sure to inform the venue when you make your reservations, as some limitations may apply.
Feel free to dress up, but comfy-casual dressy is perfect for this outdoor Texas wedding. Keep in mind: the ceremony will be held in the open air, and while there’s some shade, it’s not fully covered — so weather may be a factor. Fingers crossed for a kind afternoon! We recommend sturdy shoes — the venue is a former fish camp, and while there are pathways, some are dirt. Think cute and practical!
We wish we could invite everyone and their favorite person, but due to venue limitations, we’re keeping things cozy. If a plus one isn't listed on your RSVP, please reach out to Chris or Chelsea — we’ll see if there’s room to add one more!
YES! BUT.... only until 1:00 PM. You are welcome to breakfast and lunch, but the Overlook Restaurant will close at 1:00 PM and will not reopen for the public until the morning of Sunday, the 26th, for brunch. Friday evening dinner will be off-site if you are not a part of the wedding party. Please take a look at the restaurants nearby, or feel free to use the lakeside picnic barbecues.
