We met in the spring of 2023 while Chelsea was finishing her first year of law school. After seeing Chance's profile on Hinge, Chelsea had a feeling that Chance would be her boyfriend. Shortly after matching and a brief discussion about Star Wars, we decided to meet up to "thrift" on 12 South. When Chelsea spotted her date walking by, she anxiously jumped out of her car and scared Chance to death. We ended up spending hours together walking, talking, and subtly suggesting future date ideas. We had our second date less than a week later in East Nashville. We ate pho at The Wash and then bar hopped between Lakeside Lounge and Up-Down. Chelsea realized that night Chance was the one. Chance asked Chelsea to be his girlfriend the next week. Since then, we have been on so many adventures together, and we can't wait to continue adventuring as a married couple. We have gone to music festivals, national parks, new cities and different countries. We love to hike, kayak, and camp. We love to listen to live music, have good conversation, laugh together, and play board games. We encourage each other's individuality while also prioritizing our commitment to one another. Chance proposed to Chelsea on December 19, 2024 on a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. She said yes!
