2020 has been nothing but a difficult year for everyone. For most, this is the first time we have all experienced a global pandemic and so much has already been taken from us. Our jobs, celebrations, the gym, being with friends/family, our day to day routine. Even just running into Trader Joes! We all are currently battling what is right and what is wrong. We went back and forth on whether or not to have this wedding. We thought maybe even our original venue burning down is a sign for us not to have it this year but NO. One thing we realized is that life is too short and anything can be taken from you at anytime. This wedding is not just about us, but its a celebration of life for everyone. We want to bring some joy into 2020. We understand that some people will still not feel comfortable being out due to Covid, but we will GREATLY appreciate our family and friends that do make it out to celebrate this special day with us. Certain measures/cautions will be taken to make sure everyone is safe. The staff at Mount Palomar will all be wearing masks, have their temperatures taken upon arrival and everything will be sanitized regularly. We recommend everyone try to quarantine themselves as much as possible prior to the wedding. The venue is HUGE with tons of space between each table. Masks are not mandatory, but if you feel more comfortable wearing one then go ahead. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be outdoors as well.
