Chelsea and Brendan actually met via Bumble, a dating app. They arranged a first date one Saturday evening in February of 2019. Chelsea happened to adopt her heart cat, Ash, earlier that day. Needless to say, they met at a local Barcade, had an "interesting encounter" with some of Chelsea's former co-workers during their first date, Chelsea talked about her new cat the whole time (somehow not scaring Brendan away), and they both left that evening feeling like the date went well. The rest is history!

Halloween is Chelsea's favorite holiday. Every year she participates in I.M. Imagery's 31 days of halloween and also enjoys cosplaying. Brendan also enjoys spooky season being a fan of horror movies. For 2021, Brendan proposed (get it?) to do a photoshoot as horror characters; Brendan as Jason and Chelsea as the girl from The Ring. He arranged the photoshoot with I.M. Imagery on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021. When they arrived they took some fun shots in the woods. Towards the end of the session, Brendan said he had one more shot he would like to do. At that moment, Brendan took out the ring, the one that had been handed down to Chelsea from her grandmother, and asked her to marry him. She of course said yes and we are so excited to say "I do" just over a year after this special day.
