Where do we fly into?

Answer

You will need to fly into the Cancun airport. From there we will have a shuttle pick our guests up and take you to the resort. That being said, all guest will need to communicate with us when they will be arriving and flight details so we can coordinate shuttles for you.

When do we need to arrive?

Answer

All guests can arrive on any day leading up to the wedding. Remember the date of the wedding is December 8th. Please be there at least a day before the wedding. The dates we will be staying is 12/4-12/12 so feel free to book your stay for the length of time that works best for you.

When should I book my stay and flight?

Answer

The website will list that there are limited rooms available but if you wait till July or August to book the rates are usually better. That being said you are welcome to book when you would like, but do not wait too long to book as the closer to the date, the less availability they will have on certain rooms. For flights Frontier will be the cheaper flight but they do not list their flights until six months out. If you would like to save some money on flights I would wait till it gets closer to the date of travel.

What if you can not make the wedding?

We completely understand if you can not make it to the wedding! We will be having a reception in Colorado for those who can not attend. We do not have a date for the reception but it will be late January or early February. We should have a date later on this year. We would love to see you abroad and/or in our home state.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Mexico in December is actually fantastic. There is an occasional rain storm but it usually clears up quickly. Typical days will be enjoyed getting sun on the beach or by the pool! I would bring a light jacket or sweater for evenings but chances are you won't need it! Bring plenty of swim suits and sunscreen!

What to wear?!

Answer

Our wedding will take place on the beach, it will be dressy casual. Something light is recommended. During your stay make sure to bring some formal outfits for dinners. Many of the restaurants at the resort have a dress code, it is not super strict but they will not let you dine in with shorts and a tank top.

What if we would like to do Excursions while we are there?

Answer

There will be plenty of time to go on excursions! This may be our wedding but it is also a vacation for you to enjoy as well! Barcelo has excursions you can book while at the resort, ie: Snorkeling, fishing, jet ski, and more!

What is included in your stay at Barcelo?

Answer

Barcelo is an all inclusive resort! So you will not need to pay for food and drinks during your stay! I do recommend bringing some cash for tipping staff.
