We first met while playing in an adult softball league. It took the whole season for one of us to say something. (Good things take time right?) One night, the whole team all went out to La Esperanza for Cinco De Mayo. We ended up exchanging numbers and the rest is history!

There was nothing I was looking forward to more than a holiday dinner planned at Beach Plum Farms with our friends, Angel and Joe. We joked about how this would be the perfect place to get engaged and eventually married. An all-in-one special spot to celebrate all of our future anniversaries. What I didn’t know at the time was, Adam called Beach Plum to set up a woodsy, lantern-lit proposal.. but the weather had other ideas. The weather around Christmas time can always be hit or miss, but like a true matron of honor-to-be, Angel made the amazing suggestion to take pictures in front of the tree and lights at Congress Hall. I noticed a nervous Adam preparing for our pictures and before I knew it, he was down on one knee in front of the Christmas tree. Before I even fully processed the details of what was going on around me, I was surprised to see my whole family excitedly waiting nearby. It was truly a Kodak moment and one I’ll be happy to have for the rest of my life.
