First there were phone calls. Not the kind where you talk for hours and there's the whole, "No you hang up..." bit. No, I called Los Angeles Marc Jacobs from Savannah, Georgia Marc Jacobs for transfers. Normally I would talk to our mutual bud Mark, but every once in a while I'd talk to Aaron. Mark knew I wanted to move out there and thus so did Aaron. One lucky day I needed an item and Aaron asked when I was moving, I said I don't know, and he told me they were interviewing that day for an open position. Fast forward to 6:30pm when I got a call from corporate offering me the position. Two weeks later I was living in LA. This isn't where the story gets good though, this is the car ride to NY part of WHMS. We worked at two different stores but we'd see each other every once in a while.We had our own lives going on but Aaron was a nice guy! Life got hard, as it tends to do from time to time, and a whole lot went on for both of us. But we sort of became friends and sent motivational texts here and there. You know how the story goes, one day you look over at your friend and you realize, wait, I like you more than just a friend and both of you feel the same way! It was like that. Then we threw in some cross country moves, sad good byes, a long distance relationship, finding our way back together, moving again and then finally getting proposed to by a ring on the dog's collar. And NOW HERE WE ARE!!
