Dan was the right swipe for me! I hosted a Palentines Party (Valentines, but for friends) and during the night several of us presented our PowerPoints on what we were looking for, and then took turns swiping for each other using the majority's vote. Dan won us all over way before even meeting him! We matched on Valentines Day, then had our first phone call three days later; only to talk on the phone every day that week leading up to our first date in Lititz. I secretly gave him the nickname "Mr. Future Husband" and told all of my girlfriends! We made things official pretty quickly, and two months later, we said "I love you" for the first time. Dan's love for Jesus, his compassion for those around him, and his moves on the dancefloor are some of my favorite things about him. Can't wait to celebrate with you!

Unlike Chelsea's cool matching story, mine is not the same. I was likely on the dating apps by myself on valentines day. I saw this beautiful woman in what looked like to be a bridesmaids dress doing the worm. Not only was I impressed with doing the worm in a bridesmaids dress, but having the confidence to post that on her dating profile was special to me and I had to match with her. Luckily she swiped right on me. I talked about doing the worm as my opening line and by the grace of God, she was interested. After we texted a few days, we had our first phone call. What was supposed to be a 15 minute call turned into an hour call. The rest of that week, we talked on the phone again increasing our time on the phone with each call. The last major phone call before our first date was about three hours long! We ended up both multitasking because we were trying to get work done. It didn't take me long to realize that Chelsea was special. Not only that, but she is the perfect pairing for me. She is confident and knows what she wants. She is a social butterfly who loves to help. She can be the center of attention, while also being a great listener. God has never made anything more clear to me than to marry this woman. I can't wait for the day and to have you all join and be witnesses, only makes it more memorable.
