04.24.19 Chelsea is almost a North Carolina native, moving to the state when she was six years old from Florida. She spent her formative years here and always had dreams to travel, her mother always worried about her moving far away and for a time it might have been a real concern as adventure was calling. Things would change for her though on one fateful night with one simple text. Tyrone hails from Florida himself, bouncing around from the sunshine state to his home state of Michigan he found his heart calling for the Carolinas. Tyrone had dreamed of setting off and making his own way, he didn't know why the small town of Newton North Carolina called to him, all he knew is that that is where he was supposed to be. Unbeknownst to him, it was just in the radius of now to be his future wife. They set a date to meet at Amelie's in Charlotte, and they talked all night over a few cups of coffee. Chelsea told him of her ambitions to travel, mentioning Thailand and her want to see as much as the world as she could, not expecting 9 months later to be in Bangkok ridding in a tuk-tuk with this random man she met by happenstance. Since that day though she has been the happiest her friends and family have ever seen her. Tyrone and Chelsea continue to see the world together, settling down in Hickory NC with their kitty Judaculla, and the two could not be happier with their life long travel partner, and cannot wait to start this new adventure together.
