Hello & Welcome!

As most of you know Angel and I had originally met through some of our closest friends many years ago. We were 20 years old and many of our friends were turning 21. We’d see each other every now and again, but we both had completely different lives at the time. In the spring of 2015 Angel began his career as a flight attendant and come spring 2017 I was only one semester away from finishing my Bachelor’s degree. It wasn’t until the end of May 2017 that two of our very closest friends were getting married. Participating in and planning for their wedding is what ultimately brought us together the night before their big day! Of course Angel was Mr. Suave and his friends conveniently left him with no ride that night, so I offered to drive him home. The next day at the wedding he mustered up the courage and asked me to dance. He tried teaching me bachata, which I didn’t fully understand, but he had patience with me. A few days later Angel asked me out to breakfast and days after that we went on our very first date. And another date and another 😊 Fast forward- in May 2022, it was both of our 30th birthday’s and of course we had to celebrate by throwing a combined party. Little did I know Angel was planning a secret engagement the entire time. While most of you know this part of our lives, I was completely taken aback and so surprised by the entire thing. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry (which I did!). While saying YES to him has always been a no brainer for me, I was still so shocked! We’ve traveled near and we’ve traveled far. We’ve experienced so much of this world together as a couple and we intend to experience even more. But soon we will be experiencing new things as husband and wife. What better way to celebrate the marriage of two amazing people??
