Ellie and Chad met at a gym while both living in Wausau in 2016. They had mutual friends and ran into eachother quite often, and became friends themselves. Ellie moved back to Eau Claire, her hometown that summer after finishing the school year at Northcentral Technical College. They kept in touch from time to time. The following spring, Chad accepted a promotion that also moved him to Eau Claire! Knowing that Ellie was single, he asked her out, she said yes... now they’re getting married and couldn’t be happier or more excited for the future.
