We’re getting married!

This—is the story of us. Brent and I both graduated from thee North Carolina A&T State University. Though we both graduated from A&T, we didn’t know each other during our time there. It wasn’t until after graduation, when Brent moved to Orlando to start his career as an engineer, and I to start my journey as a law student, that we started getting to know each other. Fate? We think so. Once in Orlando, we connected through an A&T Alumni group-chat and because I was focused on my studies, we spent the next 3 years casually spending time together and going on dates. We became a couple soon after I graduated and now we're engaged! We’d like to think our story is one of perseverance, going after your dreams, and finally getting the girl! I love you bae, Chelcee

When Chelcee and I first met in Orlando, it was more than I could hope for. I knew when I finally popped the question, I had to make it magical. To start, I asked Chelcee on a romantic date to Sun Dial at the Westin, downtown Atlanta. While she spent the day getting ready, I reserved a room, decorated it with a 50 white rose bouquet and candles, and booked my linebrother to capture the moment. Afterwards, I picked her up and we enjoyed a nice dinner overlooking the city and the sunset. When we were preparing to leave, I pulled her to the other side of the restaurant to look at the Christmas decorations on display; and ironically, she mentioned that we should have taken pictures there, not knowing that my linebrother was already capturing the moment that would change our lives forever. She could not belive that this moment was actually happening. Getting down on one knee was exhilarating and at the same time overwhelming. Once she said “Yes”, I felt the weight of the world lifted off my shoulders. And since then, I have been on such a natural high. I love you girl, Brent
