When and where is the ceremony?

Answer

Bethel Baptist Church, Troy NY. Our ceremony location is conveniently located just half a block from both Franklin Plaza and Best Western Plus. Guests not staying at the hotel are welcome to park in the Franklin Plaza parking lot, while those staying at the hotel will enjoy a short walk just across the street. Guests are kindly asked to arrive by 3:45 PM. In order to keep the ceremony intimate and uninterrupted, doors will close promptly at 4:00 PM. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to share this moment with you.

The reception will immediately follow at Franklin Plaza. Both venues are located in Troy and are just a short drive apart.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a room block at Best Western Plus Franklin Square Inn Troy, which is conveniently located directly across the street from Franklin Plaza. Additional booking details and deadlines can be found on the Travel page.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Attire for the evening is formal, so we encourage everyone to dress their best and enjoy the chance to get a little dressed up! Ladies are welcome to wear floor-length gowns or elevated cocktail dresses, and gentlemen are asked to wear a suit and tie. We kindly ask guests to refrain from wearing white, ivory, or any shade that may photograph as white.

Is there a welcome party?

Yes! We would love to see you before the big day. Please join us on Thursday evening from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Brown’s Brewing Company – The Malt Room. Light sweets will be served, and beverages will be available for purchase at the bar.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children participating in the bridal party. We truly appreciate you making arrangements to celebrate with us.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP by Friday, October 2nd. Kindly note that if we do not receive your response by this date, we will regretfully mark you as unable to attend. Due to venue capacity and planning timelines, we are unable to accept late RSVPs. We appreciate your prompt response, as it allows us to finalize our guest list and make necessary arrangements.

Is parking available?

Parking is available near both venues. Guests are encouraged to allow extra time for arrival, particularly for the ceremony. Additional parking details and directions can be found on the Travel page.

Will transportation be provided between venues?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. Guests are asked to arrange their own transportation between the ceremony and reception venues. Both locations are a short drive apart.
