Travel Note

Attendees traveling from Pensacola

The drive from Pensacola to Grayton Beach is roughly an hour and a half (1.5 hours for you metric types). If you plan to drive from Pensacola, please advise on giving yourself enough time for travel and getting ready beforehand. As much as we all want you there, we will NOT wait for you to show up as things will be on a tight schedule when the wedding begins. Further down there is a list of a few different hotels that we recommend staying at if you wish to stay the night in Grayton Beach/ Santa Rosa area. Hotels are fairly pricey, so prepare to pay a little more than a typical hotel.

Attendees traveling outside of Pensacola

Anyone else outside of Pensacola or family/ friends coming in who do not have a place to stay, we recommend you get a hotel in the area of Grayton Beach. The venue is close to the water and there are plenty of hotels in and around the area for everyone to stay in. Hotels are not cheap in the area, so we recommend staying one night near the venue and getting a hotel for the rest of your stay in Pensacola. Please plan ahead and accordingly so you aren’t late! For those flying in, we will list a few airports we recommend flying into based on price and distance. If you are expecting someone to pick you up, make sure there are no scheduling issues before booking a ticket.

Please book enough in advance so you don’t pay Christmas prices on spring break. And please don’t fly in the same day as the wedding! You’ll miss all the free food. Rental cars available at the airport.

Mobile Regional Airport

This one is probably for people who have someone planned to pick them up. Sometimes it’s cheaper to go to this airport, but not all the time. If you don’t have chauffeurs to drive you around, please get a rental for however long you’ll be in the area.

Destin Fort Walton Beach

Out of all three nearby airports, this one is closest to the wedding. It’s close to the beach, and you won’t have to worry about commute on the day of! However, please keep in mind that this is also the most expensive airport to fly in to as well, due to its lovely location. Best option for out of town guests wanting a fun weekend vacation (or week, we won’t tell!)
