Taylor and Eric first met at Buena Vista Elementary in 2003 after Eric's family moved to Greenville, SC. Over the course of the next 10 years the two would cross paths many times- attending classes together, competing in swim meets, cheering on the Riverside Warriors, but were never more than just mere acquaintances. Eventually, they would attend college together at Clemson University where their friendship really began. During their time at school Eric and Taylor grew closer and closer (many thanks to Best Man, Nate Cotterman). Their four years at Clemson came and went way too soon, and before they knew it graduation day had come and the two were preparing to head their separate ways. Him to Augusta, GA and her to Savannah, GA. After a night of celebration at Tiger Town Tavern, the two FINALLY made things "official". Better late than never right? Fast forward 5 years, 4 apartments, 3 cities, 2 animals, and 1 house later the two decided to celebrate New Years Eve in New York City with their dear friend (& bridesmaid) Jane Minar. Little did Taylor know, NYE would not be the main event of this vacation. Eric and Jane had been secretly planning out the engagement for months and after a long walk in Central Park, Taylor said yes to forever.
