Can I bring a plus-one?

We're so excited to celebrate with you! The name(s) on the invitations are those who are invited. Due to the slightly limited space & to help keep our gathering cozy and meaningful, we're unable to accommodate additional guests. We truly appreciate your understanding and can't wait to share this special day with you!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
While we love every single one of the littles in our lives, we kindly ask that you take this opportunity to hire a sitter and enjoy a kid-free night out! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kiddos at home so you can celebrate with us. (PLEASE reach out to Aaron or Kaytlyn if special accommodations need to be made!)

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code is colorful semi-formal/cocktail attire. If you would like to coordinate color wise, that is encouraged! Think bright and colorful cocktail/tea party dresses or a suit and tie or sports coat. Our theme is very much Mulberry Grove meets Fairy Garden Party! Expect a warm, dry day that cools off in the evening, but know that Colorado loves to throw a surprise rain storm every now and then!

Will there be an open bar?

The bar will be open until around 8;00 pm, and then it will become a cash bar. Please bring cash for drinks and tips!

When should I arrive?
Answer
Guests are not permitted to show up to the venue until 3:30 pm! The ceremony will begin at 4:00 so PLEASE give yourself enough time to find street parking and a seat!

Where do we park?
Answer
There is plenty of street parking right outside of the venue and there is also a parking lot caddy-corner to the site that you are welcome to park in and walk to the entrance. Hillside Gardens has limited parking at the front entrance for guests who may need assistance or who are un-able to walk from street parking.

Can I smoke on the property?
Answer
We kindly ask that you refrain from any and all smoking/vaping on the venue grounds. Outside alcohol is also not permitted on the property. Please don't make us pay a fine! We'll send you the bill ;)

Does the party really have to end?
Answer
We're so glad you asked! Because we have so many family members coming from out of town, we would love to keep the festivities going! Since the ceremony and reception are on a Friday, we would like to take the following day (Aug. 22, 2026) to celebrate and fellowship some more. We will have a pot-luck lunch at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs, with lots of lawn games! Please check your invitation for the address and time, or text Aaron 719-426-7579 or Kaytlyn 719-287-8871

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be at Hillside Gardens Event Center. Both parts of the wedding are located outdoors.

When do I need to RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP through this website no later than July 21, 2026. If we have not heard from you by then we will assume you will not be able to make it - we'll miss you!
Question
Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?
Answer
We will accommodate everyone as much as we can! Our caterer has gluten free options and we will be having a buffet style dinner. Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any other dietary restrictions.
