Question
What will the weather be like in Salt Lake City and at the venue?
Answer
Salt Lake City, Utah in September sees highs in the 80's and lows in the 50's. The Venue, Log haven, is located in Millcreek Canyon which tends to be cooler than the city. Our wedding is in the evening, so please consider bringing an additional layer for warmth.

Will we be inside or outside?
Answer
The Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception will all be outside.
Question
Can I use Uber or Lyft to get to the wedding?
Answer
You may Uber to Log Haven but will need to pre-order an Uber for your return trip because there is no service inside the canyon.

Can I bring my children to the wedding?
Answer
We love ALL of your children, however we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand!

Do you have a hotel room block?
Answer
Rooms at the Grand America will open six weeks before the wedding for anyone who is wanting to stay there and is not already booked. Please book under the Fong-Berec wedding.

What time should I be there?

The wedding ceremony starts promptly at 6pm. We appreciate your punctuality on our special day!

Will parking be available?
Answer
Free valet parking is available at Log Haven.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

Will transportation be provided to the ceremony and/or reception?
Answer
For guests who are staying at the Grand America, a shuttle has been arranged to and from Log Haven. The shuttle leaves from the Grand America at 4:45pm. Please arrive on time! The shuttle will depart from Log Haven to return guests to the Grand America at 10pm and 11:30pm.

Will there be food and drinks served?
Answer
There will be a cocktail hour held after the wedding ceremony with passed appetizers and wine, beer, signature cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages followed by a buffet dinner. Wine, beer, signature cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages will also be served with dinner.

What if I have a dietary restriction?
Answer
The buffet is vegetarian with a fish option. If you have other dietary needs, please email us at CheersToTheBerecs@gmail.com. We want you to be safe and comfortable!

Will there be dancing/entertainment?

We will have a DJ at the reception! Guests are invited to dance to their heart's content, or not; whatever makes you happy!

Should I bring my own alcohol to the wedding?
Answer
There is NO outside alcohol allowed at the Log Haven. Please do not bring any outside alcohol to the wedding.

Is the altitude in Salt Lake City going to affect me?
Answer
If you're coming from sea level there is a possibility you might be affected by the altitude. Please make sure to stay hydrated and well-rested. You will also want to avoid drinking as much as you usually would because you will have a lower tolerance for alcohol.
