Josh and Cierra first met in highschool, what started out being a flirty on Josh’s end, was not reciprocated on Cierra’s. Therefore a friendship flourished instead! A 2 1/2 year friendship that involved Starbucks “dates”, getting the hookup at Freddy’s, eating at Sauce, and romping in Josh’s car while bonding over their love for music! Cierra doubled as a friend AND tutor to both Josh and his best man Matthew. For as long as they would pay attention of course… when they weren’t tutoring they would also confide in eachother when it came to romantic relationships not knowing that THEY were going to be the ultimate romance. Long story short, Josh’s feelings grew apparent after their first slow dance at his senior prom that they went to platonically, and Cierra’s followed shortly after. Sharing their first kiss back at the infamous Starbucks on Cortaro, becoming official 2 months later, to now 8 years down, nothing but love, support, and understanding one another through any and all things.

It’s no secret that Cierra and Josh love their date nights and prioritize time for THEM each month. April of 2022, it was Josh’s turn to plan their monthly date. Before that, Cierra had been wanting to get professional photos done for the LONGEST time of the two of them, which Josh being a smart man… used to his advantage. Date day comes, Cierra and Josh get ready for their special photoshoot date in Sabino Canyon. The perfect excuse to make sure the hair is done, the outfit is cute, and the love is there. After a few photos, Josh used the ole “I have to tie my shoe” trick to where Cierra turns around to see her future hubby on one knee and the most special moment to date being captured! The magic was there, the love was flying, and the tears were falling. We are all SO ready for them to take this next step from engaged to husband and wife! We’re hoping her answer is still yes when they get up to the alter ;)
