What is the best method of transportation?

-Uber works everywhere in Medellin except the airport. Upon arrival from your flight, it is easy to catch a taxi service to the hotel. Outside the airport, if using a taxi service; we recommend asking the location you are at to personally call you one. You can use Uber anywhere else in the city. *BOTH hotels offer shuttle services to and from the airport. Please contact the hotel so they may arrange this for you on arrival and departure*

Which type of room should we get in the hotel?

XS: Couples or singles who are always on the go, never in the hotel and are only there to shower and sleep. Depending on the person, this room may be tight. Comes with 1 queen bed. S: Couples or singles who are on the go but like a little more space in their room. Comes with 1 queen bed or 2 single beds. M: Includes a private balcony. Option between 1 queen bed or 2 single beds. Room measures 20m2. L: This room includes a king bed with both shower & bathtub! Room measures 22m2. XL: This room includes a king bed, shower & bathtub, as well as its private living room space. Perfect if you want to have a few friends in your room to hangout before a night out! Room measures 28m2. 2XL: Beautiful room that measures 35m2 that includes a king bed, larger living room space, bathtub and shower. Perfect pregame spot before the wedding!!!

What is the weather like in Medellin?

Medellín is known as “La Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera”, the city of eternal spring. Sunny warm days & cooler nights. Average temperature of low 70s. If you tend to get cold, we recommend you bringing a light sweater to the wedding as it may get cooler in the mountains.

El Poblado is Medellin's most high end neighborhood. Like in any major city, be precautious of your surroundings and stick to the wedding party. We will be sharing recommendations of things to do. Feel free to ask us or the hotel any questions.

Currency and payment in Medellin.

Everywhere in Medellin takes credit cards. If you would like to carry cash with you, look to exchange in Miami prior to traveling or can exchange at any BanColombia or Davivienda. $1.00 US Dollar is approximately 4,000 Colombian Pesos. Tipping is not customary in Latin America but does go a long way. TRUST US!
