Introducing, Us

Hello everybody! We are so excited to spend our special day with all of you. I wanted to use this space to tell you a little bit about the two of us, just because our story is our favorite. As I am sure many of you all know how we met… Tinder… I know, so embarrassing. But don’t worry, the story does get more embarrassing. After we matched on Tinder, we immediately started talking about the important things, our favorite music, but specifically Mac Miller. I thought this random boy who apparently lives close to my hometown was pretty cute, so I decided why not give him a chance. Turns out he was on vacation and was, in fact, NOT from Massachusetts; he was secretly from Florida. I finally found a nice boy, and he lives one thousand miles away from me. Part of me thought about throwing the whole wedding I had planned for us in those first few days away, but something told me not to. We started out doing “FaceTime dates” and chatting all throughout the day, and the more we talked, the more we really started to fall for each other. One day, Jon decided to buy a plane ticket to Boston, so we could finally meet like normal people usually do. I was so nervous; this guy could be a serial killer, or even worse, I could really like him. The big day finally came. I got in my little Prius and headed to Logan Airport. Obviously, I hit absolutely insane traffic because I was driving in Boston (IYKYK), but I arrived “perfectly on time.” Jon got into the passenger seat, and we were on our way to the Plymouth Rock. Unfortunately, a Subaru Outback decided to get in my way and take the life of my beloved Prius… within that first 30 minutes or so of us leaving the airport. We didn’t end up making it to the Plymouth Rock that day; I had a lot of important insurance stuff to do. However, we did end up making it to the Plymouth Rock that weekend (thanks for giving us the mini-van, Mom!). Water Wizz (the famous waterpark from Grown Ups), a graduation party, and of course, we had to stop at Chili’s. When I say we spent that entire weekend laughing, I am not exaggerating. I had never instantly connected with someone so fast, especially not a possible murderer I met on the internet. By the time we drove, well, Jon drove back to that airport, I knew for sure that I was going to marry him. I just wouldn’t admit it. After three years of so much love, laughter, and happiness, we are finally making it official and tying the knot! I have truly found my perfect match and soulmate. I know all of my friends will not be happy when I say this, but I am so absolutely lucky to be completely and entirely in love with my best friend.
