We first met through a mutual friend when were were 16 but never really became close until 2012, the summer we graduated high school. We started dating that summer and then Katie went off to college to pursue a nursing degree and Michael joined the Air Force. However, despite the distance and challenges we overcame, we were inseparable and fell in love.
In 2017, Katie and Michael embarked on the trip of their dreams through France. Towards the end of the vacation, Michael led Katie through Paris on an early morning walk though the city on the way to the Palace of Versailles. As we crossed a bridge that had a great view of the Eiffel Tower, Katie stopped to take a picture. As she turned her head towards Michael, he got down on one knee and proposed. Obviously she said YES! The moment was beautifully captured by a secret photographer that have allowed us to both relive this fond memory.
On March 16th, 2019, Michael and Katie took their vows surrounded by their immediate family and close friends. Though it was not the original wedding that was planned, it was a beautiful service and a cherished moment as we became husband and wife. 3 weeks later, we packed up all of our stuff and moved across the country with our pup in order for Michael to go through military training. However, we both wanted the chance to celebrate our wedding with all of our family and friends. So we've invited you to witness our renewal of vows and join us in our celebration of marriage. We hope you are able to attend this special day and join us for a night of fun!
