Stone Harbor
In additional to Stone Harbor being where our hotel block is, they have a fun Tiki Bar for anyone to visit with beautiful views of the water. They usually have live music too!
Inn at Cedar Crossing
A favorite of ours for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and/or drinks. Highly recommend. They make a great margarita!
One Barrel Brewing Company Door County
Fun spot 20 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay for great beer, pizza and lawn games. It's located in Egg Harbor, which is a very cute, walkable town.
Fat Louie's Olive Oil Company
We do not pass through Egg Harbor without stopping here. We stock up every year on a ton of Olive Oil and Balsamic to bring back to CA with us. You can't go wrong, but the Tuscan Herb is our favorite.
Door County Maritime Museum
For those of you looking to brush up on your maritime knowledge, stop at the Door County Maritime Museum. Mariah's dad, John, has been on the board of the museum for 25+ years and has been instrumental in the creation of the brand new observation tower that will be open to the public in 2021.

Adorable café and gift shop you can stop into on your way up the peninsula.
Door County Brewing Co. Taproom and Music Hall
Baileys Harbor is a town on the Lake Michigan side of Door County, 40 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay. They opened a new tap room and music hall with great food, tasty beer and outdoor beer garden.
Stabbur Beer Garden at Al Johnson's
A local favorite, Al Johnson's not only has a brand new outdoor beer garden, but the actual restaurant is iconic. You can find waitresses dressed in traditional Danish outfits serving you breakfast and goats on the roof. A must see.
Simon Creek Vineyard & Winery
We can't lie, the wines from Wisconsin are a bit SWEET for our dry, California pallets. But this place has a cute little backyard, off the beaten path. John Asher's favorite is the "untouchable red."
Whitefish Dunes State Natural Area
It's beautiful out here. Rent a kayak (DC adventure center kayak tours), check out Cave Point and go see the dunes.
Lautenbach's Orchard Country Winery & Market
For more Door County goodies stop here on your way up to Fish Creek. There's cherries, a bakery, and WINE!
Peninsula State Park
Bike, boat, fish, golf, walk, tour a lighthouse, climb Eagle tower. There's a ton to do at this park!
Wickman House
A bit further up the peninsula in Ellison Bay, Wickman House is a unique treat. The restaurant’s focus is on sustainable agriculture, featuring a menu inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and gardens.
Washington Island
For those of you with some time, drive up to Gills Rock and hop on the ferry to Washington Island. One of the Island’s newest attractions is Fragrant Isle Lavender Farm, the largest single-site lavender grower in the Midwest.
