We’re Getting Married!

Our story started with a simple Instagram follow, turned into meeting at an event, and somehow led to us getting food poisoning together on our first date and now, getting married! We met at the end of 2024 at one of my work events that he was *coincidentally* volunteering at. We spent the weekend chatting, and I later invited him to another gathering I was part of. He came and that night, he got my number (thank God)! Soon after, we went on what he calls our first date and I call our first hangout. We grabbed coffee and croissants at my favorite French café, walked around town, and then grabbed dinner. That’s when the infamous fish tacos entered the story. Dylan doesn’t eat fish, but I convinced him these were amazing (they were at the time) so he took a bite while I ate the rest. The next day, we both became very close with our toilets and officially trauma-bonded over food poisoning! By the grace of God, that experience only made us stronger. A few months later, we started dating, and since then our relationship has been full of laughter, deep conversations, lots of learning, serving God together, and absolutely no fish tacos in sight. We’re so excited to continue building our lives with Jesus at the center. We are fully committed to the Lord and to one another, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people on 9/26!
