Meeting in 2011 with Mike being the cool kid in their high school youth group and Lilly being desperate for him to notice her, they didn't start dating until freshman year of college. Despite Lilly relocating to Orlando after graduating, they grew up but never apart. About year 9, they had the "shit or get off the pot" conversation and Lilly moved back to Ohio to finally start their life in the same zip code. After 13 lucky years, the big day is finally set to take place.

The Ohio Renaissance Festival has always been an important event in our lives. We went as kids and every year we have been together. In 2025 Lilly joined the Street Cast and Mike joined the Cincinnati Barbarians. Behind the scenes, Mike coordinated all of our friends and family to visit the festival on the same day. At the last fight, Mike runs out of the lists and proposes. Lilly was oblivious to the entire thing and was just happy everyone was there to support Mike's fight. Thank you to all our friends and family that made it a day we will never forget.
