Bride
When I first met Chaz, I knew that he was going to be someone who will be in my life for the long haul. I remember when he would always stop by my table in biology, health, and geometry class just so we could talk about anything! It's funny, every Tuesday he would wear a ruby shirt and it was so often that he got Dave, Kevin, and KJ to join in on the fun and I thought, "Wow...they are honestly pretty cool." I should have known it right then and there that is my forever guy. It didn't take until 10th grade when we were watching a football game and he gave me his jacket and a hot chocolate that this guy is someone who I am meant to be with. Since then, we became inseparable. I can't wait to spend the rest of my days with the guy who will always make me smile and make life a joy.

Dave has known Chaz the longest, having met as eager and overly-musically confident bandmates in middle school. This desire to hang out, play music, and make video skits developed into a lasting friendship through high school, college, and beyond. Dave played a critical role in the making of this wedding itself, as he acted as chief encourager in Chaz and Caterina to start dating. All these years later, through student council runs, music albums, and stressing over buying houses, Dave remains a brother to Chaz and a thoughtful, kind friend to both Chaz and Caterina. Alex first met Cat at St. John Fisher College through mutual friends (all who are actually in the wedding party). Although Alex graduated a year early, Cat and her kept a close relationship with their bond over tequila, too hot to handle, and making what Alex and Cat thought were wonderful (but later realized questionable) decisions together. Many of those decisions would end in Chaz’s wonderful soul nurturing us with all the love in his heart. Alex always knows she has a place to call home away from her home (which is only two minutes from Cat and Chaz’s because she couldn’t stand to be too far away from them.) Alex is thrilled to share their special day with them and continue to make more lovely, but sometimes questionable decisions with Cat that Chaz will always save us from.

When Joe first met Cat, she was his mentor in the honors program. As a result, she was one of Joe’s first friends at Fisher. She helped him get involved with the theatre club on campus: Fisher Players. After performing together in Joe’s first semester, Cat took on the role of directing the following semester’s show, Spring Awakening, and asked Joe if he would join her as vocal director. He agreed, and the two would go on to make lifelong memories as they worked both on and off the stage to entertain the crowd. During this time, Chaz returned from studying in Scotland and met Joe during his visits to Fisher. Joe was immediately gravitated to Chaz’s infectious kindness and great humor. When Joe was helping Cat and Chaz move into their new home, Chaz confessed to Joe in the car that he was trying to hide the ring amidst all the packing and moving. Needless to say he succeeded, and Joe was beyond thrilled to know this great couple was finally getting married. Now, Joe has the honor of officiating their special day and couldn’t be more excited to take part in their ceremony and celebrate Cat and Chaz’s love.
