What do Denver, Austin and Chicago have in common? Italy. This love story begins with Chaz, who was living in Denver, and Bela, who had a home in Austin, venturing up to Chicago for the annual summer work cruise. Although they spent most of the day together, their paths didn’t cross until later in the night when Chaz introduced himself “as the new guy at the company who has sent you a couple of emails”. From there, the rest was history. They stayed up talking until 4 am, but only stopped because SohoHouse told them they had to turn the lobby lights off. The distance was tough, but they stayed connected through many FaceTimes, plane rides and a playlist Chaz had thoughtfully curated. There were many meaningful songs to them but the one that really stands out was 8 to ♾️. This song made the hard distance seem closer and why they wanted to get married in August. They haven’t stopped talking since and are excited to welcome their closest friends and family to one of their favorite places in the world - Italia!
