Their story starts with a wedding. They met on June 8th, 2019, Alex was bartending a wedding that Chaz was a guest at. All night he continued to go to Alex's bridesmaid Candice's line at the bar until about an hour before the wedding was scheduled to be over. Chaz eventually made his way to Alex's line and would not stop talking. Finally, he mustered up the courage to ask for her information. Alex wasn't sure about it, but with a little encouragement from Candice, ended up giving it to him. The next day they met up for drinks and talked for 5 hours straight about any and everything. Then the day after that Chaz left for two weeks with the military, they talked every day he was gone and when he got back they had their first official date. They've been inseparable ever since. On October 23, 2021, at the same place that they met, Chaz proposed. They can't wait to celebrate with all of you November 12, 2022 and promise a night to remember!
