When should I RSVP by?

Am I allowed to take photos during the wedding?
Answer
We are asking for everyone to please put their phones away during the ceremony. After the ceremony, please take as many pictures as you like! Make sure you reach out to us after the wedding to find the best way to share these with us, we would love to see them all!

Is marijuana allowed?
Answer
No, it is not. Our contract with the venue states "Lawful consumption of tobacco products may be done at designated smoking areas outside, but not marijuana." Please do not bring marijuana or you will be asked to leave.

When should I arrive for the ceremony and how late should I plan on being out?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 pm so please arrive early to be seated in time! We appreciate any time you are able to share with us on this day, and the latest guests are allowed to stay per our venue contract and local ordinances is 11:00 pm.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Barring any bad weather, the ceremony will be outside in the orchard!

Is there a time gap between the ceremony and reception? What should we do during this time?
Answer
There will be a short gap in between to allow us to take photos. During this time, we would love for you to enjoy drinks from the bar, sign our guest book, socialize, and play outdoor games weather permitting.

Where can I stay in the area/how can I safely travel?
Answer
There are many nearby hotels in the Charlotte/Lansing area! Your vehicles can (and should!) stay at the venue overnight if you are not able to drive yourself safely afterward. Make sure to download apps like Uber and Lyft as a back up! It’s a rural area so make plans for a designated driver and don’t count on ride share apps :)

What is the dress code?

We are going for a comfortable and relaxed feel on our wedding day so please dress in whatever makes you feel most comfortable! Your comfort and happiness matter more to us than looking a specific way <3

What will be served for dinner?
Answer
Olive Garden Create Your Own Pasta Catering! This includes their house salad and breadsticks and your choice of spaghetti or fettuccine, meat sauce, marinara, or alfredo sauce, and meatballs, Italian sausage, or grilled chicken. If you have a dietary restriction that cannot be met by this, please let us know and include it on your RSVP :)

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
We will not be serving an open bar; however, we will have cans of beer, seltzers, red sangria, and white sangria. For non-alcoholic options, we will be serving water and lemonade.
