Driving Instructions

If traveling West on Route 33: Follow US-33 W past the town of Stanardsville. As the roads narrow, look for the Lydia Log Cabin with the red tin roof. Just after that, turn left onto VA-625/Goose Pond Road, then take an immediate right into the parking lot. If traveling East on Route 33: After passing the Swift Run Gap entrance to Skyline Drive, you’ll begin descending the mountain. Shortly after the sign that reads “You are now leaving Shenandoah National Park, turn right onto VA-625/Goose Pond Road. Then take a right into the parking lot on Golden Horseshoe Road. TIPS: - Be sure to use the full name of the venue ("Golden Horseshoe Road"), as there is also a "Horseshoe Rd" in Stanardsville. - The venue is located directly off of Route 33. Make sure GPS doesn't take you on the back roads. Do not turn onto Timber Dr. GPS can be unreliable in the mountains.
