Mariela and Hector met in 2018 at the Valley Plaza Mall while Mariela worked for Panda Express and Hector worked for Raider Image. One day, as Hector headed to Sbarro during one of his lunch breaks, he and Mariela made eye contact across the food court. He quickly decided that Panda Express was what he needed for lunch that day. Sbarro could wait for another day! For the next four months, Hector ate Panda every single weekend. They were clearly interested in each other, but both were too shy and nervous to make the first move. Finally one day, Mariela asked her coworkers to give her Snapchat to Hector if he happened to stop by. Sure enough, he did! So after four months, they finally started talking and just a few weeks later they were dating. Now here we are today, five years later, about to get married!!
