Getting There
By Car:
Guests traveling by road will take a scenic drive into Big Bear. The typical routes (Highway 330, Highway 38, and Highway 18) still apply. Because Shay Meadows is somewhat secluded, encourage guests to arrive before dark and check road and weather conditions (as mountain roads may become challenging in the evening).
By Air:
Recommended airports remain Ontario (ONT), LAX, and possibly Palm Springs (depending on connecting flights). From there, guests should rent a car. Since ride-share options may be limited closer to the venue, having a car is strongly advised.
Where to stay?
AirBNB, VRBO and Big Bear Vacations are a great place to check along with local hotels. Please keep in mind that our wedding is during Oktoberfest and locking in a reservation as early as possible is recommended.
