Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Although our wedding will take place at a Scout camp, we encourage you to dress in your Sunday best to elevate the occasion. For Men: A button-down shirt is recommended. While a tie is optional, a coat is not necessary. For Women: Heels are optional, as there are some areas where you will be walking that are not paved (though most areas are paved). The ceremony will be held outdoors, with a short walk to the nearby Three Point Dining Hall for the reception.

Do you have a registry?

We've added a few home and travel gift card ideas to the registry tab for those who wish to give a gift. However, having lived together for quite some time, we truly have everything we need. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for.

It's a Scout Camp. Will There Be Alcohol?

Answer

Absolutely! Drinks are on us, but the hangover is all yours. The entire camp will be closed for the wedding, so no Scout activities will be happening during this time. Cash is only needed to tip the bartender.

Can We Go Swimming in the Pond?

Answer

Unfortunately, swimming is not allowed throughout the weekend. There are no lifeguards on duty, and for liability reasons, we must prohibit swimming.
