We met our first day of band camp at UK our freshman year but did not really get to know each other until the end of that year. Our paths kept crossing because we ran in so many of the same circles, and eventually though all of these interactions we started to get to know each other more and more. We started to become friends through our service fraternity and through Chasity's bridesmaid Haley, who was her roommate and Adam's research partner. During our sophomore and junior year, we became closer and developed a strong friendship. By January of 2021, we were hanging out nearly every day. We realized that we wanted to be more than friends and started dating. Two days after making it official, we had our very first date as a couple. We went to Jungle Jims in Cincinnati, where we bought international snacks together and then Adam immediately took Chasity to meet his parents. We supported each other through the end of college, and moved in with each other the summer after we graduated. Since then, we have both gone back to school and have continued to encourage each other to chase our dreams. In May of 2023, we went to see Taylor Swift at the Era's Tour together. The night of the concert it stormed so bad that the show was delayed by nearly four hours. The next morning, we were supposed to go to brunch and walk around Centennial Park. Chasity had to be convinced to go because we got back to our hotel room at nearly 4 a.m. the night before. Thankfully, Adam convinced her that a shower and a walk would do her good, because while we were on our walk, Adam proposed! Over the last two years, we have only grown closer and have gotten more and more excited to get married with every passing day. We are so lucky that we each get to marry our best friend and are so excited to share this special day with the people we love.
