Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No, but have FUN with it! It's summer (or almost) in the city. Think somewhere between a fancy cocktail party and a ball. We want G L A M O U R ! Look fly, think black tie (sans the tie) Color and flare, if you dare. Look your best, show your chest! Boys - if you have a dark suit or tux, that's perfect but no need for a tie or bow tie. Or mix and match suit separates. If you can spice it up with fun shoes or a different shirt underneath, or no shirt at all, do it! Girls - legs, chest, high ponytails, fun makeup, fake lashes, platforms, pantsuits, you get it. You've been to enough boring weddings. Important: NO glitter (bad for the environment and not allowed at City Aquarium). What's gender? Do what you want! B R I N G I T !

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In a perfect world it'll be in the 70s and sunny in early June. The rooftop ceremony and cocktail hour will be perfectly lit by a backdrop of golden hour sun. And you won't need any extra layers or a shawl because you'll be dancing up a storm!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Invited guests only please.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but this is an adults only event, unless your children were specifically invited. Thanks for understanding.

Question

Is there a sit down dinner?

Answer

No but there will be stations with a variety of food and also plenty of sitting areas to pop a squat.

Question

Is there organized transportation?

Answer

There is not. But it's New York City - you've got options! Uber/Lyft are easy and so are cabs. Our team can help you with calling a car from the wedding if needed!

Question

Tell me about this after party.

Answer

The after party is going to be at Justin's business' warehouse (City Aquarium). It's conveniently only two blocks away from the wedding venue, so guests will be welcome to start walking over there after the reception around 11:30/12. It's going to be quite the spectacle and a very special moment so you'll want to be sure to stick around and check it out at least for a bit. Sleep when you're dead! You are welcome to bring a change of clothes or shoes if you desire.

Question

Will this be a late night?

Answer

Yes - drink coffee! But really, if you're visiting it will be wise to ask for late check-out and look into later departure times. Just looking out for you!
