In December 2018, in their DC apartment with the pups eagerly watching, Chase got down on one knee and asked Jen to marry him. Who knew that years earlier, it would have been baseball to bring them together. Chase and Jen's story started more than a decade ago, when they met at St. Ben's and St. John's. They were both in the same nerdy political science classes and programs. And ended up moving to DC to start their careers. Flash forward to when they went on their first date to a baseball game at Nats park. They couldn't tell you whom the Nats were playing or who won the game, but that was the night they fell in love. And they haven't slowed down. A surprise puppy for Christmas, 10 countries visited and counting, 200+ miles hiked, and endless concerts. They can't wait to spend the rest of their lives laughing and loving each other.
