If you are coming from Seattle, you'll most likely be taking a ferry! There are some important things to know when traveling by ferry. First, it's a holiday weekend so you'll want to get there at least 30-45 minutes before the departure time. Boats can fill up, and if you get there too late, you'll have to wait for the next one. You can also drive around, but the travel time is longer. Second, we recommend purchasing a one way ticket so you have flexibility to choose which boat to take back. A one way ticket costs $19.70 for the car and driver, and $11.05 per adult passenger. You can buy one online or purchase at the ticket booth (easier option). Driving around takes approximately 1.5 hours without traffic. Due to the holiday, drive time is expected to be longer.
