Even through the distance created by the Army, Dana and Rachel have remained the best of friends! Rachel is a third grade teacher and lives in Raleigh, NC.

Maddie and Dana met during their schooling to become Army photographers. She has always been Dana's favorite "battle buddy." Maddie is married and has a precious little girl and another on the way! Abby is one of Dana's oldest friends and childhood next-door neighbor. Sleepovers, snow days, birthday parties, and family cookouts cemented their friendship for a lifetime. Whenever Abby and Dana get together, it's as if no time has passed at all. Abby is married and they have a beautiful little girl. She lives in Durham, NC.

Nicole is Dana's Army mentor and someone she looks up to. She has been supportive of Dana since they first worked together in the Pentagon. No matter how long her and Dana go without talking, they always manage to support each other and stay great friends. Nicole lives in Alexandria, VA.

Dwayne has been Kyle's best friend since high school, where they both played football. Dwayne went pro and played for the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, and the Miami Dolphins. He now works with the NFL.

Ian met Kyle in Hohenfels, Germany. Ian is... a clown. We hope he gives a speech at dinner. Ian is a Chief Warrant Officer 4 helicopter pilot for the Army. He has a beautiful wife and two children.

Cesar and Kyle also met in Hohenfels, Germany. They enjoyed scuba diving, sky diving, and skiing/snowboarding together. Cesar could be credited with pushing Kyle to ask Dana out for the first time, so THANKS CESAR! Cesar is retired from the Army and has two mini-me's. He lives in NY.

Mary is Dana's momma and best friend. She is the epitome of a southern woman. She has a huge heart and loves to have a good time! She is married to her sweetheart and they have two golden retrievers and a cat. They live in Wendell, NC.

Jonathan is Kyle's dad and inspiration for serving in the military. Jonathan retired as a Colonel in the Infantry. He now spends most of his days on the golf course or out on the lake. He is married and lives in Pinehurst, NC.
